Productions Lucy Bertrand is an agency that has exclusivity  representing its musicians, worldwide. We are in Lafayette, Louisiana, USA (winter) and  Montreal, QC, CANADA  (summer). 

 

​Lucy Bertrand started in the booking business, in the early 80’s with her husband John Jackson who was an american agent. They were booking the greatest Funk american bands in United States and Canada.

 

In Quebec, they were touring the bands at the Legendary Bourbon Street, in Mont-Rolland, Chez Dagobert, in Quebec City, Discotheque l’Excellence, in Joliette and Chez René, in Sherbrooke. They toured  bands such as  Tranzit, from Florida, Force Major, from Seattle, Washington, Wind Chymes, from Mississippi, Skyline, from Boston and many more.  

 

When John passed away in 1995, Lucy had just completed a bachelor degree in International Business Administration. She attented the University of Quebec, University of Montreal and the Florida International University  and decided to take the booking to another level and specialized in blues.

 

 She worked with Pierre Menard, from the Maximum Blues Festival in  Carleton sur Mer, Quebec, Canada, for 15 years touring great American Blues artists such as Eddie ” The Chief” Clearwater, Eddie Shaw , John Primer, Long John Hunter, Eddie Burkes, Byther Smith, Little Buster & The Soul Brothers, from New York and many more. Lucy is almost retired and  intend to book one or two bands only , by pure passion.

 

We book festivals, performing art centers, universities, casinos, conventions , weddings, private parties and night clubs around the world.
